Reseasons NSFAS Application Will Be Unsuccessful
Your NSFAS application could have been rejected for the following reasons:
- Your household’s income was verified by a third party, and NSFAS found that it exceeds the necessary threshold of R350 000 or R600 000 for those with disabilities.
- Your household income is below that R122 000 threshold since you are a student who registered at a university before 2023.
- You have used up all of the available funding from NSFAS under the N+ rule.
- It is crucial to remember that the N+ rule is based on the number of years a student has been registered for tertiary education at any public university in South Africa, not the number of years the student has been supported.
- If you’re still enrolled, they might have discovered that you didn’t match the academic standards and that’s why your financing was stopped.
