How To Create NSFAS Account 2023
- Click on myNSFAS by logging into the NSFAS website.
- To allow NSFAS to validate your information, click register and check the acceptance box.
- Enter your ID number here.
- Enter your first and last name.
- Your email and phone numbers should be entered. Your username will be your email address.
- Make up a special password, then confirm it.
- Register by uploading a copy of your ID.
- You will receive an OTP by SMS and email after clicking “Register.”
- In the space provided, enter the OTP, and then click Submit.
- Your NSFAS account will be confirmed as active via SMS and email, and you can then apply.
Documents You Will Need To Create A MyNSFAS Account 2023
You must meet the prerequisites listed below in order to successfully create your Account and submit an online NSFAS application.
- a mobile telephone number
- E-mail address
- username and password for your account, which you should remember.
Documents Needed for NSFAS Applications 2023
The following documents need to be certified copies and can’t be older than three months. The South African Police Service or the South African Post Office must certify your paperwork. The following also applies if you are under 18 or above 18 but STILL DEPENDENT on your parent’s or guardian’s combined family income:
- 18 years old, together with a certified copy of your birth certificate or South African identification.
- You must present a certified copy of your unabridged birth certificate if you are 16 years old and do not have a green bar-coded ID or smart ID card.
- IDs for the guardians or parents (death certificate)
- IDs for the guardians or parents (and a death certificate if applicable).
- a certified copy of your most recent exam results or transcript. (If you are currently enrolled in Grade 12, you are not allowed to submit this.)
- records from the registrar of the university (if applicable)
- supporting documents for lodging and travel (if applicable)
- Download the consent form, fill it out, and get the signatures of each applicant who has declared income.
- Download and complete the Disability Annexure A Form if you have a disability.
