The 2023 NSFAS Online application will be available On September 28, 2022. When should I Submit My 2024 NSFAS application

The NSFAS Online Application will be available from September 28 to January 31, 2024, when it will stop working. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme advises all applicants to remember the application deadline and submit their applications by it in light of this (NSFAS).

Who Can Apply for the NSFAS 2024

You are qualified for an NSFAS bursary if you are a citizen of South Africa and plan to enroll in school in 2023, or if you are already enrolled in a public university or TVET college and meet the following requirements.

  • The SASSA grantee
  • A household’s total annual income cannot exceed R350,000.
  • A disabled individual whose annual household income is no more than R600,000
  • Students whose home income is not higher than R122 000 per year and who started their university studies before 2023

  • Living Expenses: R1250
  • Incidental Provisions: R241
  • Travel Costs: R625
  • Accommodation: Value is dependent on each student
