    Disability Grant

    • The candidate must be a South African national.
    • The applicant’s age must fall between 18 and 59.

    Care Dependency Grant

    Candidates must fulfil the following requirements:

    • The candidate must be a South African national, a refugee, or a visitor with a current visa.
    • The petitioner and the kid must both be South African citizens.
    • The minor has to be younger than 18.
    • The petitioner shall submit a medical diagnosis or assessment report attesting to a serious, permanent disability.
    • The candidate and their spouse, with the exception of foster parents, must meet the requirements of the means test.
    • A baby (or babies) that must be constantly observed cannot reside in a public structure.

    Grant-in-Aid

    • SASSA serves the purpose of providing assistance to individuals who are legally residing in South Africa and are unable to secure employment that provides a livable income due to specific circumstances, which include requiring regular assistance from another person to perform daily tasks as a result of physical or mental impairment.

    • An OTP with six digits is given to the applicant.
