The following justifications for rejecting your NSFAS application:
- Your household’s income was independently verified by a third party, and according to NSFAS, it exceeds the necessary threshold of R350 000 or R600 000 for people with impairments.
- Your household’s income is below the R122 000 threshold since you began attending university before 2023.
- You have used up all of the NSFAS funding that was made available to you in accordance with the N+ regulation.
- Remember that the N+ rule is based on the number of years a student has been enrolled in tertiary education at any public institution in South Africa, not the number of years the student has attended the university.
