Submitting a Document to Your NSFAS Application
The following documents are required by NSFAS in order to validate your application:
- copies of applicants’ IDs
- Applicants who are not members of SASSA must present identification from their partners, parents, or legal guardians.
- For smart ID cards, a duplicate that has the smart ID on both sides is required.
Proof of income must include the most recent paystubs, which should not be older than three months, as well as letters attesting to employment, appointments, and layoffs. - Fill out the Disability Annexure A form and submit it if you have a disability.
