The NSFAS enrollment session for 2024/2025 will soon start. On this website, candidates can find out about all the requirements they must meet in order to enroll for the upcoming academic year. To access your 2024 fund, you must either create a myNSFAS account or sign in if you already have one. Please sign up for the 2024 academic year online.

You must abide by all NSFAS registration requirements and provide all required documentation in order to effectively register your financing. In 2024–2025, the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) registration process will be available. There are the start and end dates for each registration. From September 1 to January 30, this year’s NSFAS registration process will last four months.
How To Register For An NSFAS 2024/2025
Visit www.nsfas.org.za and log in.
- Select the myNSFAS tab.
- Click to register.
- To allow NSFAS to verify your information, check the appropriate box.
- The ID number that appears on your ID document should then be noted.
- Name and last name should be entered precisely as they appear on your ID.

- Your mobile number should be entered here.
- Create a password.
- Check the password.
- Post a copy of your ID.
- Click to register.
- The provided email and mobile number will receive an OTP.
- After entering the OTP, click Send.
- Your re-registration for your NSFAS account is now complete.

Who is Eligible For Funding From NSFAS
- every South African national
- All winners of SASSA grants are eligible for funding
- applicants whose annual household combined income does not exceed R350 000
- A disabled person: The total annual household income cannot exceed R600,000.
- Students whose home income is not more than R122 000 annually began their studies prior to 2023.
Who Can’t Apply For The NSFAS 2024/2025
- students who already possess a valid qualification.
- students whose family’s annual income exceeds R350 000.
- They have already applied, had their financial aid requests approved, and received it. Students are immediately sponsored for the duration of their studies if they pass their modules and satisfy the academic standards.

Documents Needed for NSFA Registration
- Specify both your email address and home phone number.
- A copy of your identification or birth certificate is required.
- a duplicate of each parent’s or spouse’s passport
- Your income documentation or, if necessary, a year’s worth of IRP5 from your parents, legal guardians, or spouse.
- You are not obliged to give any proof of your income if you are the recipient of an SASSA award.
- signed and completed disability annex Every single candidate with a disability is required to turn in a Form.
- A Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form must also be filled out and signed by an applicant who has been classified as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development.
NSFAS Registration Deadline
Online applications for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) 2023 will be accepted starting on September 28 and running until January 31. Anyone interested in applying for NSFAS 2023 must act in advance and make the necessary preparations.
