You will receive an email with a link to complete the signing process online; click the link to proceed.
- When you enter your ID number, a One Time Pin (OTP) will be sent through SMS to your registered cell phone number.
- To continue signing the contract, enter the received OTP.
- When you’re finished, a notice on the screen confirming that the Terms and Conditions have been submitted will display.
- Your parent or legal guardian must sign on your behalf if you are under the age of 18.
- A screen stating that the Terms and Conditions have been submitted will show once you’re done. Congratulations, you have now successfully signed your NSFAS bursary agreement. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must sign on your behalf.
2024/2025 NSFAS Bursary Application Process
Create a new myNSFAS account or edit an existing one.
- The www.nsfas.org.za website is very extensive.

The monthly cost of personal care is R2,900, which is paid yearly. The monthly transportation allowance, which is paid annually, is R7,350. Private individuals: R25,200 per month paid yearly for homes approved. The annual cost of hostel housing is R33,000.
